A sponsored walk is being organised by a volunteer raising money for charity.
Lindesay Mace, of Gipsy Hill, is going to Uganda in September to volunteer with an HIV and Aids organisation, and hopes the 12k sponsored walk will help her reach her fundraising target of £3,000.
The walk, on June 18, starts at 10.30am at St Leonard’s Church Park, near Old Street Tube and finishes opposite the Fire Station pub near Waterloo.
