A school production of Oliver! left the audience asking for more.
Year 6 pupils at Staines Prep ended the year with the show, based on the classic Charles Dickens tale Oliver Twist, this month.
From the John Crook Theatre at Halliford School in Shepperton the cast, comprising of all Staines Prep pupils, ignited imaginations, transporting spectators into the grimy underworld of Bill Sykes, Fagin, the Artful Dodger, Nancy and little Oliver Twist. Malcolm Amiss, deputy head, said: "The standard of singing and acting was outstanding thanks to the dedication and hard work of all the children and staff. Our Year 6 pupils will be very much missed."
