Residents will be offered burglary prevention advice at an event on Thursday, July 21.
PC Neil Bourn and PCSO Ian Lowe will be at Squires Garden Centre in Hersham, from 10am until 2pm, telling people simple steps they can take to make their homes safer.
PC Bourn said: “By following some of our suggestions, residents could deter break-ins and help ensure they don’t become a burglary statistic.”
Meanwhile, residents in Hersham have also been invited to have their say at a neighbourhood panel meeting on Wednesday, August 10.
The event takes place at St Peter’s Church Hall in Burwood Road, from 7.30pm.
