A broken down train at Leatherhead is causing serious delays to services between London Waterloo and Guildford via Epsom.

Diversions and replacement services are expected to be in place until 6.30pm this evening, Tuesday, October 11.

Services affected include trains between Epsom to Dorking and Horsham which have been delayed for up to 30 minutes.

South West trains which usually run between London Waterloo to Guildford via Epsom have been divered between Raynes Park and Effingham Juntion via Cobham and Stoke d’Abernon.

Trains from Guildford to London Waterloo will be able to run on their normal route, but will not call at Bookham.

Buses will be provided between Leatherhead, Bookham and Effingham Junctions.

Buses may be provided to supplement the train service between Epsom to Dorking and Horsham.
