Apprenticeship Connect helps tackle youth unemployment with 100 new apprentices Apprenticeship Connect, an innovative new apprenticeship organisation has placed 100 young people into apprenticeships in its first three months.

Working with Job Centres to identify those struggling to find work in the current climate, Apprenticeship Connect has achieved this significant milestone for the talented young people across London, including Croydon.

David Clifford, Apprenticeship Connects Director said: "There are an enormous amount of very talented young people out there who want to work and deserve to work, as youth unemployment rises again, over the 1 million mark, positive action is taking place. Apprenticeship Connect is opening the doors to apprenticeship jobs for as many people as possible. Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for both young people and employers, and Croydon based young people have already started apprenticeships with a wide range of employers, including luxury health clubs, shops and offices. We are delighted with the results achieved so far as it shows the demand for help for young people."

Apprenticeship Connect is recruiting both young people for apprenticeship opportunities and for core staff in order to achieve our dream of a further 750 people into apprenticeships in the next 10 months.

Apprenticeship Connect operates all over London and jobs are available in a range of sectors including sales, customer service, fitness, IT and administration.
