Police are investigating after a garage was badly damaged in a suspected arson attack.
London Fire Brigade was called to garages behind Stag Court in Stanley Park Road, Wallington, at about 9.15pm last night.
A garage and its contents were destroyed in the blaze.
Firefighters quickly put it out, and stopped serious damage to neighbouring garages.
A fire investigation unit was looking into the cause of the fire last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fire.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called by London Fire Brigade at 9.32pm.
"Police are treating the fire as arson. If you have any information that could help police with their enquiries, contact Sutton police station on 101.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
