Children’s hospice charity Shooting Star Chase is moving its fundraising office to Weybridge at the end of January and is seeking volunteers to help in its reception area. Voluntary support is the backbone of Shooting Star Chase and makes a huge difference to the day-to-day running.
Erica Quaile, volunteers services manager, said: “January is a time when people are looking to the future. “With the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee, 2012 is set to be an iconic year.
“We are asking people to do something amazing too and make a difference to local children with life-limiting illnesses.
“Without volunteers we would struggle to provide the vital and unique care to the 500 families who rely on our help.”
