As the clock ticked down to midnight on New Year’s Eve, one Southfields couple waited nervously for not just the new year, but a new baby.
Zhang and Lei Ouyang watched people celebrating outside as they waited for baby Owen’s arrival which took place at 12.57am on New Year's Day.
The couple, from Tilford Gardens, did not expect him to arrive until January 14.
But his early birth at 6lb 4oz meant his mum had to cancel plans to see the new year in with friends.
