Save the Children Sutton and District Branch raised over £5,000 during the Christmas period.
Events including carol singing, collections and Christmas fayres helped raise the total.
On December 17, Isobel Smith and Ellen Crowe from St. Paul’s Church Brownie Pack, accompanied Mother and Father Christmas (Eileen Robinson and Ray Kasey)on a walk through Cheam Village and in one hour managed to raise £100 in collection buckets.
Chairman of the Branch Ray Kasey, said: "This has been a very successful season and we thank all our volunteers and those who support Save the Children for their generosity in these difficult times."
