An injured puppy was found abandoned in a park.
Riverside Animal Centre took in the six-month-old cross-breed terrier last week after it was found injured in Oaks Park.
It was believed it could have been dumped after hurting its hip, or was abandoned and then could have been attacked by another dog.
The dog is walking with a severe limp, and it is hoped there is no permanent damage.
It was originally feared it had a broken leg.
She is being looked after by the woman who found her.
