The dangers of mixing drugs and alcohol have been highlighted in an art competition for young people.
Youths from across the borough were invited to design posters showing the danger of binge drinking and mixing alcohol with prescription drugs.
The winners of the competition, run by the Alcohol Awareness Art Project, were unveiled at a special reception on Friday attended by Croydon Mayor Councillor Graham Bass.
Among the winners was Anthony Parry who picked up a cheque for £250 for his poster mixing a bottle with a pill.
In addition to the cash prizes, the young artists and designers will see their work exhibited in a shop unit in the Whitgift Shopping Centre for four weeks.
