Volunteers have been planting edible trees at Sutton Community Farm.

Over the last weekend in February, 20 volunteers planted 400 trees including Blackthorn, Japanese Rose and Rosa Eglantine.

It was all part of the Woodland Trusts commitment to plant 6 million trees for the Queens Jubilee.

It is London’s only community farm which grows and delivers fresh local vegetables to your door.

Their bags of veg are chemical-free and come with free recipe ideas each week.

They are a not for profit social enterprise and have had over 400 volunteers so far.
