A 10-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Wallington.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 3.50pm in Mollison Drive today to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
An LAS spokesman said: "We sent a an ambulance crew and a single responder car to the scene. Our staff treated a 10-year-old boy and took him to Croydon University Hospital."
Police were also called to the scene.
No further details are yet available of the incident.
The boy's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
