Ikea on Purley Way evacuated after false alarm
Furniture and home ware giants Ikea have evacuated shoppers in Croydon.
The Purley Way store was forced to ask customers to leave just before 12.30pm this afternoon after the fire alarm sounded.
A fire crew was called to the scene but sent back within three minutes when staff discovered it was a false alarm.
