This eye-catching piece by artist Koh Sang Woo is just one example of the art available at the much-loved Affordable Art Fair.

The event, which kicks off today and runs until Sunday, will feature work worth between £40-£4,000 from more than 100 galleries.

A firm favourite with Londoners and Wandsworth residents alike, the fair is being held at Battersea Park's Evolution venue with big names and up-and-coming artists from the worlds of print, painting, photography and sculpture.

The piece in the above photograph is by Koh Sang Woo and is called 'Carrera II' - at £3,500 it is one of the more valuable exhibits at the fair.

In its tenth year, the event hosts ten fairs in six countries across three continents, and is the UK’s leading showcase for contemporary art under £4,000.

This year there will be plenty of choice, including work from comedian Vic Reeves, big name in the design world Noma Barr and Jamie Reid, who's best known for creating album artwork for the Sex Pistols.

The fair is open on Thursday from 11am-5.30pm, and then later this evening from 5.30pm-9.30pm.

It is also open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am-6pm. Prices range from £10-15 and children under 16 are free.
