A science-themed day will teach children about the amazing world around them.

The Science Museum’s fantastic forces fun day will use Sir Isaac Newton and Phil the stunt frog to teach children about forces.

This fun day at King George Hall in Esher, on Wednesday, April 11, is designed to excite and inspire youngsters to think about the part science plays in our everyday lives.

Children will apply their learning by finding the force to build their own hovercraft and will top off the day by learning how hot air was used as the first form of air transport and build a hot air balloon.

Councillor Jan Fuller said: “Great learning usually happens when children are having fun and with this workshop, children will discover how things work through inspiring activities.”
