Five people have been charged in connection with an alleged wine investment fraud.

Kelly Humphries, 30, from Wallington, and Daniel Snelling, 36, from Sutton, are among the quintet accused of conspiracy to defraud and money laundering.

The others are Dina Snelling, 34, of Invicta Close, Chislehurst; Simon Dempsey, 42, of Blackfen Road, Sidcup and Rebecca McDonald, 42, of Parkside Avenue, Bexleyheath.

All five, currently on bail, are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 11.

The charges follow searches of businesses and homes in the Docklands and Sidcup areas.
