Carshalton MP dons a hat in support of charity

MP Tom Brake joined a campaigner on "Wear a hat day" to raise awareness of brain tumours.

Linda Rickford, of Coulsdon, whose son David has a brain tumour, was joined by Carshalton and MP to help charity Brain Tumour Research, and its member charities, promote awareness of the prevalence of brain tumours and raise funds.

Along with Mr Brake, Tracey Newton from the ‘One of a Kind Cake Co’ in Brighton Road, Coulsdon, and staff at Danny’s fish and chip shop in Old Coulsdon donned a hat in support of the campaign.

I'm wearing my St. George's Day hat with pride tomorrow. Perhaps we will be seeing much more of the St. George English flag in future because if Scotland leave the union under Salmond the Union Flag will be redundant.
