H&T Pawnbrokers on Central Road H&T Pawnbrokers on Central Road

Mind the gap, Worcester Park is now connected to the London Underground Network, according to a new pawnbrokers.

Maps in the window of the new H&T Pawnbrokers on Central Road show that the shop is only a short walk from the Tube station.

Spotted by the Worcester Park blog, the maps have incorrectly used the London Underground symbol to denote Worcester Park railway station.

A spokesperson for H&T Pawnbrokers said: "We would like to apologise for any confusion our marketing may have caused to the local community.

"Obviously there is no underground station in Worcester Park and this was just on oversight on our part.

"The posters have been up for 2 weeks, we just hope no-one has been waiting all this time for a tube."
