    I just looked and can't see anything on London or Surrey BBC sites and not heard it on any other news.... so 'The Public' haven't really been made aware of this 'dangerous' man being on the loose!

    And to state that he escaped from a 'secure' ward rather negates the use of that word I would have thought!"

Police have warned a dangerous man with links to Surrey is on the loose after he escaped during a hospital visit.

Dominic Tamblyn, 27, had been in a secure mental health ward at Springfield Hospital yesterday, May 27, after being charged with a bomb hoax, possessing blades and attempted arson.

But he escaped at about 1.20pm while being treated at St George's Hospital in Tooting.

Detectives have warned anyone who sees him to call 999 immediately.

He is described as white, 6ft 4inches tall with long brown hair and a large wispy beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, white sleeveless vest, dark tracksuit bottoms and black trainers with yellow and green trim.

Tamblyn is known to areas across London and in Surrey.
