A dangerous man with links to Surrey who escaped while being treated at St George’s Hospital has returned.

Police had warned the public not to approach Dominic Tamblyn, 27, who had been sectioned for attempted arson, possessing bladed articles and carrying out a bomb hoax.

He had escaped from St George’s Hospital on Monday at about 1.20pm.

He was returned to a secure ward at Springfield Hospital last night, police said.
