Staff from Sutton and East Surrey Water have helped construct a rehabilitation "test track" for seriously injured soldiers.

The test track at Headley Court, Leatherhead, provides an outdoor space where prosthetic skills can be taught and practiced by military personnel to allow them to return to independent living.

The team built the circuit which involves a series of paths built from various materials and set on cambers and slopes.

A very praiseworthy thing to have done for our deserving war heroes. I just wish the water company could also capture more water, avoid the restrictions and not land me with a 10.2% rise in charges they dismiss in their PR leaflet as "a little above inflation",
