Tennis club offers free lessons to youngsters
A tennis club is hoping to produce the next Raphael Nadal or Andy Murray through its free six week coaching course.
Sutton Churches Tennis Club will be providing two free six-week tennis coaching courses this summer to boys and girls aged 14-25 years old with thanks to funding from Sportivate.
Youngsters will be able to test their skills on a the club's brand new clay courts, much like the ones currently being played on at the French Open.
The courses, called the Boys n Girls Summer slam, start on Tuesday, June 12, with a course for boys between 4pm and 5pm and a course for girls from 5pm to 6pm and will be instructed by the club's fully qualified tennis coaches and are suitable from all standards from total beginner.
