8:02am Tuesday 31st July 2012 in News By Nick Hitchens
Rail users should be aware the DLR, Central, Jubilee and Piccadilly lines are all expected to be extremely busy with Olympic events taking place across the capital.
With events taking place at Wembley, North Greenwich Arena, Lord’s Cricket Ground, ExCel and the Olympic Park, Transport for London is warning the Jubilee line in particular will be extremely busy.
In south London, major stations such as Waterloo and London Bridge have been highlighted as areas expecting serious congestion, while the district line south from Earls Court to Wimbledon is expected to be busy while the Tennis competition continues.
Northern line stations Clapham North, Clapham South and Clapham Common have also been highlighted as stations to be avoided.
