Allan Rumbles completed the run along the North Downs Way last weekend
A father who ran 100 miles had his medals stolen just days after completing the gruelling challenge.
Allan Rumbles, 44, of Reigate Way, Wallington, completed the run along the North Downs Way last weekend.
When he returned home from work on Tuesday, August 14, his home had been burgled and his circular medal and oval shaped commemorative buckle were gone.
There were also irreplaceable items taken amongst the jewellery including his daughter’s first tooth and her first lock of hair.
Several thousands of pounds worth of goods were taken including laptops, ipads and cash.
It is thought the items were taken away in a sports holdall also stolen from the property.
The bag had a key ring attached to it with an evil-eye motif.
The burglary took place between 8.15am and 4.20pm.
Anyone with information should call Detective Constable Ian Griffith at Sutton Police Station on 020 8649 0777 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
