Fair skinned people need to check their skin regularly for changes that could be linked to skin cancer
An expert at Epsom, Sutton and St Helier hospitals is urging people to check for signs of skin cancer.
The warning follows a sharp increase in the number of over 50s who are being diagnosed with the disease.
Dr Chris Harland, consultant dermatologist at the Trust, is recommending that people check their skin regularly for changes, especially if you are fair skinned with a lot of freckles.
