A grandmother who reached fame with her Olympic flags is now decorating Cheam in honour of the Paralympic games.

Doreen Gibbs, 73, from Cheam, used material from charity shops to decorate the town with Olympic flags.

This week she has begun putting up her decorations in honour of the Paralympic games which begin on Wednesday, August 29.

Mrs Gibbs is urging people inspired by her decorations to give donations to the Salvation Army in Benhill Avenue, Sutton.
