Rubbish left in garden for three months as council prepare for demolition
Imagine pulling your blinds every morning to be faced with this in your neighbour's garden.
For Linda Parker, 52, it has been a reality for the past three months.
Her neighbours on Fellowes Road, Carshalton, left their council house at the start of June as Sutton Council prepare to demolish the homes as part of the regeneration of its housing stock.
The mountain of rubbish has remained there since after the departing neighbours had a clear out.
Mrs Parker, is the owner of 20 homes which are set to become part of a compulsory purchase order from the council.
Mrs Parker said: "It's not particularly nice looking at that every morning. And for three months. I have told the council about it and nothing has been done."
A spokesperson for Sutton Council said: "Half of the garden clearance has been completed, and arrangements for the remainder are in hand following discussions with neighbours."

Sadly this article hasn't mentioned that this is the last in a long line of injustices dealt out to her by Sutton Council as part of the regeneration scheme. They offered her an incredibly unfair deal in the CPO of her home and the rubbish is clearly just adding insult to injury. I sincerely hope that the council sort this situation out ASAP.
