Men arrested on suspicion of burglary after tip off from the public
Four men have been arrested for burglary after a tip of from a member of the public.
Police received a phone call at 21.45 on Thursday August 30 after four men were seen to be acting suspiciously near addresses in Park Lane, Wallington.
As officers converged on the area two men were arrested in two different streets nearby within minutes.
A bag, which was seen to have been carried by one of the men, was recovered by a police dog unit in the area of All Saints Primary School, Carshalton.
The men aged between 25 and 34 were arrested for burglary. Two of them were also arrested for going equipped.
Investigations connected with the arrests, led police to carry out a search warrant at a property near Sutton Town Centre.
The men are being questioned at a South London police station.
