Car fire in Mellows Park, Wallington

A car was set on fire in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Nissan Micra was ablaze in Mellows Park, Wallington, just after 1am.

Both the police and the London Fire Brigade attended the incident. No-one was injured.

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously contact Sutton Police station on 101.

A minor point for the Sutton Guardian. Why do you show a photo of a Welsh Police car with your story? Met Police cars are not that rare that you cannot get a photo of one from the local area. A bit slapdash really. They will probably change it now, & readers will wonder what I'm going on about. But as of 13:40hrs 03/09/2012 this is correct.
