Battersea dogs home names pooch after Paralympian David Weir
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is celebrating David Weir’s double gold medal victories by naming a dog in his honour.
A lucky dog is also sharing in Weir’s success by unwrapping a special golden treat to mark the Paralympian’s victories.
The charity is naming a dog or cat after every Paralympics GB gold medallist in the games.
