Thousands of people took advantage of the glorious weather and flocked to Nonsuch Park’s awareness day on Sunday.
The free event, now in its fourth year, attracted its biggest ever crowds, with 2,000 visitors enjoying the park’s dog zone, nature zone, cycling zone, history zone and fitness zone.
Epsom and Ewell mayor, Councillor Christine Long, and Sutton’s mayor, Councillor Sean Brennan, attended the festivities and raised the park’s new Green Flag on the day, a national award recognising it as one of the best green spaces in the country.
