Crash involving car and motorcycle outside Sutton station

A man was injured after an incident involving a car and a motorcycle this afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing a man lying next to a Land Rover on the junction between Mulgrave Road and Sutton High Street at 1.30pm.
An eye witness said: “I just heard a loud noise and there he was lying on the floor next to the car.
“I think he had been riding his bike.
“He was shaken up but I think he looks like he will be OK.”
A spokesperson from the London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 1:30pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle at Mulgrave Road.
"We sent one ambulance crew, an officer, and a single responder in a car, who are currently standing by at the scene."
The Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade also attended the scene.

Someone dialled 999 stating that the motorcyclist was trapped under the car, which was not true.
She stated that 2 LAS RRV's and an LAS Ambulance, 3 Fire Appliances and a Police car attended.
Both parties are alright.
The motorcyclist injured his leg.
