Pokemon, chess and knitting offered at Sutton Central Library
5:00am Saturday 13th October 2012 in News By Sophia Sleigh, Reporter
Arts and crafts, Pokemon and homework help are just some of the events lined up for Sutton Central Library.
On Wednesday afternoons there is a chess club, a knitting club and a homework club.
A full week at the library includes special sessions for babies and toddlers on Tuesdays and Fridays and the under-5s will be given a treat on November 28 when they can get stuck into a creative hour with paper, glue and collage.
Thursdays will attract a slightly older crowd when gamers gather from 5-8pm to do battle in the Pokemon League and on November 1 a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament will see children aged six and over take each other on in the card game.
On November 3 there will be a special Guy Fawkes-themed event and on November 17 there will be a day of activities centred on the popular Magic Pet Shop series written by Holly Webb.
