A new brewery named after a Sutton street will launch its real ales at a beer and cider festival this weekend.
This weekend is the 19th Croydon and Sutton Beer and Cider Festival which begins tomorrow night at Wallington Hall, Stafford Road.
The festival runs until Saturday and will see south London's newest brewery, Clarence & Fredericks, launch its real ales.
Couple Victoria Barlow and Duncan Woodhead, launched the brewery in June, after creating a range of beers in a nano brewery in the kitchen of their Sutton home. They named the brewery after the road they live in, Clarence Road, and his three-year-old son, Frederick.
Head brewer, Duncan Woodhead, will be introducing drinkers to his smoked red and golden ale at the Campaign For Real Ales (CAMRA) event.
Duncan, 36, said: "I'm really pleased to be launching my ales at the Wallington festival as there are so many beer lovers in the area, and I'm keen to learn what they think about my brews."
The festival, starting today, runs until 6pm on Saturday, October 13.
