Brave visitors can expect a phantastical experience of fun, food, face painting at Sutton Central Library on Halloween.

Those who dare can follow a creepy treasure trail, tuck into a Halloween-themed cupcake, browse a selection of stalls and activities and try their hand at pumpkin carving after watching expert Robert Taylor demonstrate how to carve a pumpkin.

Councillor Jill Whitehead, chairwoman of Sutton Council’s environment and neighbourhoods committee, said: "Our libraries are vibrant hubs for our communities and there is usually something fun going on. So do come along to this.... if you dare."

The event is on Sunday 28 October, 1 - 4.30pm at Sutton Central Library.
