North Cheam McDonald's workers renovate Sutton’s 1st North Scout Hut
Sutton and Cheam MP Paul Burstow said a big thank you to McDonald's staff who renovated a scout hut.
The fast food volunteers renovated Sutton’s 1st North Scout Hut on September 27 led by Claire Windle, the manager of the Oldfield’s road branch.
It was all part of the Love where you Live campaign aimed at businesses and community groups to help provide cleaner, greener spaces.
Mr Paul Burstow said: “It was great to see McDonald’s staff contributing to our local community in this way.
“The Scout Hut has benefited from their efforts and they have set a real example to other local businesses.”
