Knifepoint robbery at Shell garage in Beddington Lane

Two masked men demanded money at knifepoint from members of staff at the Shell garage in Beddington Lane.

The two men, who had covered their faces with scarves and hoodies, pulled up on a motorbike and demanded money from two members of staff at the garage.

The men jumped over the counter, threatened both staff and punched one of them in the head.

They grabbed cash from the tills and stole cigarettes before escaping on Saturday, October 13 at 6.20am.

The suspects are described as two white males and were riding a white motor bike.

One was described as 5ft 10in tall and of heavy build. He was wearing blue denim jeans, a red and white striped T-shirt and a grey hoody with a large black Adidas logo on the front.

He appeared to be wearing yellow washing up gloves. He had his hood up and a dark scarf covering his face.

The second suspect is around 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and black and white trainers.

He had his hood up and a scarf covering his face. He was also wearing grey woolly gloves.

From the description these raiders have no sense of fashion. Yellow washing up gloves? Look for a man bullied by his wife.
