While Ben Haenow battles it out on stage, Croydon businesswoman Bianca Miller has her fights in the boardroom.
The 25-year-old is one of this year’s contestants in the Apprentice, which is in its tenth year and back on television tonight with a perfume challenge.
Already being tipped as one to watch, Miss Miller will be sniffing out sales and hoping she is not the one to hear Sir Alan Sugar say the words: “You’re fired”.
She was brought up in Croydon and Sydenham and describes herself as determined and ambitious, but says she can be pedantic.
The former Sydenham High School pupil joined a management technology consulting firm as an human resources adviser after leaving university, before moving on to a brief stint in recruitment.
In 2012, Miss Miller took the leap to launch her own business and her personal branding company, the Be Group, was named as one of the Startups 100 businesses of 2013.
She said: “I regret not becoming a scientist so I could clone myself and be more successful in half the time.”
The Apprentice is on BBC One tonight at 9pm.
