The Wimbledon Common Nature Club, supported by the London Wildlife Trust, took children pond dipping teaching them all about watery creatures from tadpoles and damselfly nymphs to lesser water boatmen and water snails.
The club’s next session will be on Sunday, July 7, focusing on the ‘secret life of bees’. For more information email auriel.glanville@btopenworld.com or call 020 8540 6154.
