Hurst Park School raised nearly £400 for Children in Need thanks to the school council.

Children met in the past few months to organise a fun event day and chose to support the BBC’s charity on Friday, November 15.

As part of the fun, teachers came to school dressed as pupils while youngsters came to school dressed as adults.

Children also enjoyed a range of activities at lunchtime including football shoot outs, guessing the name of the teddy and 10-pin bowling.

Isabel Gordon, reception class teacher, said: “It's wonderful to see everyone entering into the spirit of the day to raise money for this fantastic charity.”
