A school bake off raised £260 during a break time to help victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.
Staff and students at Greenacre School for Girls, in Banstead, brought in homemade cakes which were judged, sold and eaten on Wednesday, November 20.
Monica Wraith, who organised the event, said: "This was a wonderful effort and many thanks go to all the pupils, parents and staff who contributed.
"A cheque will be sent to the Emergency Disaster Committee."
Greenacre School for Girls have thanked the business community in Banstead for donating for prizes for the best cakes. The final total raised was £422.
