Brooklands College business students have been put through their paces by the Army as part of their induction to college life.

Teaching staff at Brooklands College believe the training encourages team-bonding, camaraderie and positive thinking.

The students enjoyed a blindfolded obstacle course, laser clay pigeon shooting, and a group tug of war.

Steve Varman, the lecturer who coordinated the event, said: “The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt some valuable teamwork skills which they are already putting to good use as part of their course.

“This activity is part of the close links the business team has developed with companies and organisations to help the students’ personal and professional development.”
