Bishop Thomas Grant Secondary School held its annual football tournament, the Emma Wallace-O’Flaherty Trophy, last Friday.
The tournament was held in memory of Emma Wallace-O’Faherty, a former pupil who died five years ago.
The winning team was from Streatham’s St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School.
Primary schools participated in the event, which also supported the 100 Days of Peace campaign.
It is led by the Mizen family, whose son Jimmy was murdered in 2008 at a south London bakery. The campaign aims to end youth violence in London.
The events were linked as both promote the positive work of young people.
The 100 Days of Peace car was driven to the event by the Mizen sons Tommy and Billy.
Kathryn Blair, former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s daughter, also attended the event.
