Sutton United boss Paul Doswell says he will not stand in the way of a possible Football League move for Harry Beautyman.
Doswell has taken calls from interested League clubs and is convinced his midfielder could be going in January.
Kyle Vassell’s departure last week will not see Doswell dipping into the transfer market, but if Beautyman leaves, that will change.
Doswell said: “I hope Harry gets the move he deserves. He has been a good servant to us and I would not stand in his way if the right move came up.
“Kyle wanted a guarantee of first team football and I could not give that to him. He will probably end up at Boreham Wood and I wish him the very best.”
Injuries to Steven Old, Marvin Williams and now Anthony Riviere, have left the squad thin on the ground, leaving Doswell angry at the number of forthcoming games.
“We’ve not had a mid-week game for almost two months, and now we have an intense period of seven or eight games between now and January, it is absurd.”
Sutton go to Staines in the Blue Square Premier this weekend.
