Ryman League Divison One South leaders Dulwich Hamlet set up a mouth-watering clash with Maidstone United this weekend after a convincing 2-0 win at Folkestone Invicta.

Liam Friend’s own-goal set the visitors on their way just before the hour before Erhun Otzumer doubled Hamlet’s advantage on 71 minutes - his 17th of the season.

But the visitors could have struck sooner when striker Daniel Carr rattled the inside of the post.

Invicta made a positive start to the second period but Hamlet’s resolute defence showed why they are now three points clear at the top of the table.

Friend put through his own net after Otzumer had found Calaum Martin on the left hand side.

Shortly after, Otzumer sealed the win after picking up a perfectly-weighted ball through from Nyren Clunis.

With the three points heading back to south London, Hamlet could enjoy title rivals Maidstone United being held 2-2 at home by Crawley Down Gatwick.

Hamlet welcome the high-flying Stones to Champion Hill in a top-of-the-table tie this Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
