Brentford boss Uwe Rosler has rubbished rumours surrounding his future by commiting himself to the Bees cause.
The 44-year-old German has two years remaining on his contract at Griffin Park and he is determined to see it out, despite the double disappointment inflicted on him and his charges at the end of last season.
Rosler is also determined to keep the nucleus of his side together, although stars including Sam Saunders are yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Rosler said: “This has been a special season for the club, perhaps one of its best ever.
“It is unfortunate we came up short on two occasions, but we are a strong side that will come back stronger next year.
“After the Wembley game, all the players went on a well-deserved holiday. It’s been such a long season for them.
Time to stick together: In the aftermath of Sunday's defeat, Rosler does not want to lose any of his players SP76364
“As yet we’ve not spoken to the players but the impression I got immediately after Wembley was positive.
“Fans need to know that we will be working very hard behind the scenes to sign and re-sign players, and have another go at League One next year.
“I have two years left on my contract, and it is very important I and the whole squad stay together.”
