Carshalton Athletic has further solidified its charitable ties with an additional sponsorship announcement.
Anti-bullying organisation The Liam Charity is set to be new shirt sponsors as the club take delivery of new home and away strips, at no cost to the charity at all.
This move further builds upon the relationship of the two as the charity already hosts an annual fundraising football match at Colston Avenue in the close season.
The Liam Charity was set up in memory of Liam Hearne who tragically took his own life in 2010 following suspected bullying at only 14 years old.
It was founded by Liam's older brother Aaron in 2012, and it aims to raise £100,000 for the NSPCC's ChildLine service.
Aaron said: "With the support of Carshalton Athletic, and others within the local community, Liam's fund currently stands at £36,500.
"We've also supported many youth projects over the past two years, like helping to raise awareness of Wallington County Grammar School's anti-bullying agenda. We are happy to extend our relationship with Carshalton Athletic and look forward to it growing from strength-to-strength."
Carshalton club director Clare Dipre said: "Bullying is a serious subject and we believe in the importance of raising awareness about how destructive it can be.
"So we are proud to be working closer with Aaron and his team by helping to further promote the existence of the Liam Charity."
