Hampton & Richmond are expecting a bumper crowd for this Saturday's promotion showdown with AFC Wimbledon.

The fact that Hampton have won all three of their previous meetings with the Dons only adds to the interest surrounding a fixture that attracted a crowd of 2,500 last season.

Hampton, in liaison with the police, have put in special arrangements for the game.

Unusually for matches at the Beveree, supporters will be segregated.

Three quarters of the ground is being set aside for Dons fans, who will enter the ground via the turnstiles in Beaver Close.

Toilets and refreshment facilities will be made available to them in the club's inner car park. Hampton fans will be directed to enter the ground behind the Alan Simpson Stand and will have access to the clubhouse for toilets and refreshment facilities.

No alcohol will be allowed to be taken onto the terraces.

Additionally, qualified security staff are being employed, to augment Hampton's voluntary stewards, to ensure the safety and comfort of the fans of both sides.

Fans of both teams are urged to get their early, using public transport wherever possible, as there will only be parking at the ground for players and officials.

* AFC Wimbledon's appeal against the deduction of 18 points imposed by the Ryman League for playing an ineligible player will be held next Monday. If the appeal fails the Dons will drop out of the promotion race to a mid-table position.
