Brentford frontman Ryan Peters has joined AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the season.

Peters is the second player contracted to the Griffin Park side to join the Dons within the space of a week after goalkeeper Clark Masters signed on loan for the Kingsmeadow side.

The 22-year-old, who can play on the right wing or as a striker, has made 10 first team appearances for Brentford this season and will go straight into the side, together with fellow new signing Lee O'Leary, for this Saturday's top of the table clash against Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Dons boss Dave Anderson admitted he was delighted to have brought Peters to the club, he said: "He will be a good addition to us. He's got two good feet who can play as a striker or on the right side of midfield. He also has reasonable pace.

"We've known about him possibly being available for loan a few weeks now so it's good to have him in."

Peters is the third signing Anderson has made in the last seven days and the Dons boss has admitted that he is still looking to bring in at least one more before the non league transfer window closes at the end of the month.
